it seemed like it was yesterday
that you called me to say

but now i gotta alot of work to do
but all i can manage is think of you
i wonder if it was a mistake

maybe it had to do with the season
but what ever may be the reason
makes no sense to me now

sure i got my doubts
but i dunno unless i try out
the one mistake i did make
was the paths i chose to take
i should have listened to myself from the start

but the pressure was too much
i couldn't take it anymore
